Hi Sasha!
I suppose you wouldn't remember me...Skated together in Moscow, with Rafic, two
summers in a row, a long time ago (you didn't even speak English then!). Well, after
all that time I thought I drop a line...
I wish you (and your family) all the best and no worries.
Hope you send a mail.

Hey,
why did you say in one interview, that the audience of the part, which is closer
to Germany, was that colder? Ok, maybe Germans are really like this - but look at
the audience in Dortmund! Wasn't it really fair? I look at this point, because I
greatly admire you and after reading it I was a bit disappointed.

We've been AWFULLY missing you at the Worlds. ;*( You're simply the BEST,
the only. Just irreplaceable.
Uhh...If only...
But we're really happy to know you're enjoying your life, practising (that place
in the world is better than paradise for us, we guess :))), and...creating new fabulous
performances. THREE new numbers per month! Great job!!!
But...we'll be missing that fantastic footwork in Yablochko and the whole Nyah programm.
Every time someone dares
to use your music we see only you skating, jumping, spinning...smiling...
Our GREAT RESPECT and GRATITUDE to Alexander Zhulin (congratulations with the gold
medals ;-)))
Tell him he's a GENIOUS choreographer! 8-)
THANKS for keeping the promise and staying on the ice :)
We LOVE you saying "I just like figure skating!". And we LOVE you skating. And we
definitely love figure skating when it is
Figure Skating. Like, you know, there is no "figure jumping" ;-) And SKATING is
much harder... Who can be compared
with you in that? Some very talented ice-dancers, maybe... But... No. They can not!
Don't tell them, they'll be upset :)
Just know that. And keep skating, improvising, dancing...
We're happy to have the opportunity to see you doing all that magic LIVE...
THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN FOR THAT 8-)))

Hi Sasha! I'm sorry to hear that your turning pro. I've always enjoyed watching
you skate your programs. Your an incredible and gifted skater and all of your fans
are going to miss you. But, then again we could continue watching you skate as a
professional. Most of the great skaters have gone on to skate pro and I find it
just as interesting except with a different scoring system. I wish you continued
success in your skating career and hope to see you soon. Are you going to perform
in and Canadian cities in the near future? Perhaps in Stars On Ice. Edmonton, Alberta
is usually one of the main cities the exhibition takes place. I look forward to
seeing you perform soon. Take care and keep smiling! Best wishes to you and your

Sasha,
Just when your performances were regularly being televised, you retire. But
I understand that a skater must be driven with the desire to skate competitively.
With the pain and injury you have sustained it must have been increasingly difficult
to continue. There will be a tremendous void left by your abscence. There are few
left with your great style. I am saddened even more because I fear you will not
be performing in shows touring the U.S.A. I wish there was something I could do
about that. I will miss you! Thank You Again, Marcy.

Oh Sasha, dear..! When my coach told me last night that you had to withdraw
from Nationals after short, I was shocked and very sad at the same time, and it
was even sadder to hear that you decided to end your eligible career due to another
injury. I’m very sorry for you and I hope that you will get well again very soon.
Very, very soon...
I guess the decision to put an end to competitions must have been very difficult
for you and eventhough I can understand it, it makes me sad somehow...
Well, you know, I thought that this season would be yours. This year I would see
you win gold at Europeans and Worlds... Well, I’m afraid I was wrong... It’s pathetic..!
You’re a great skater! I just love to watch you skating! I’m sure that you will
come up with great performances in future, and without the pressure of competition,
you can skate even more with your heart and soul... So, I hope that one day I will
get my chance to see you skating again... I have no idea at all when this would
be as I can’t travel far to see you in a show and TV hardly brings any shows, but
still I don’t give up hope...
For the moment I just can say thank you, thank you for lighting up men’s figure
skating competitions with your wonderful performances for so many years..! Thanks!
Oh, there’s one more thing... Well, you say: „Miracles don’t happen“... but they
do... Okay, they don’t happen very often - they are very rare in deed - but sometimes
in some ways they do, you know? Believe me..! The only bad thing about them is that
you never know when, where or how they will happen and so you can not rely your
decisions on them as long as they didn’t happen... So, from that point, you surely
made the right decision to end competing now and skate in shows to support your
family... Still I wish and pray that your little miracle will happen in some way
or the other... and hey..! maybe... who knows..?
However, I’ll pray for you and your cute family anyway and I guess I’m not the only
one...
Well, I don’t know if you will ever take the time to read this... and... I wish
that I could write you more in some less public way than this page is (as everyone
can read it)... but as I don’t really have another option now, I’ll just leave it
with that...
May the years ahead be filled with health, happiness and blessings and may wishes
come true..! Take care!
love, Ana

Dear Sasha,
I can´t thank you enough for all these moments of magical figure skating! No other
skater touched me like you did. It will take a long time to get over that you won´t
be at Euros and Worlds anymore. But I understand, it´s time for you to move on.
I wish you all the best in your new career. With your artistry and musicality, you
just can´t fail. The audience will adore you. Just enjoy yourself. I try to keep
track on you via internet. Hopefully, I will see you skate again someday.
Take care!

Keep your head up Sasha! I know having another injury is disheartening, but
if anybody can come back, it's you. You are the first skater I've seen live who
looks so natural on the ice that it's like a dream. When you skate with your heart,
it definitely shows and that's why you have so many fans. Keep healthy, and keep

Sasha,
You have fought through so many injuries over the years, and you always seem to
come back stronger. Take some time off! Get healthy again and come back next year
(or maybe Worlds??) and fight the battle again! Skating will not be the same if
you retire now. Please don't go! Your fans have cheered you on for almost 10 years
now. We don't want to lose you yet. On the ABC Broadcast of COR the commentators
were so excited about your short program. They said it has been a long time since
they were so excited about a male performance. Next season won't be the same if
we don't have your new programs to look forward to. Please don't give up the fight!
Please stay!

Dear Sasha,
I am very, very sorry that you had to withdraw from Russian Nationals. Luck hasn´t
been on your side. But you are without doubt one of the greatest skaters ever. In
the hearts of your fans, you are THE CHAMPION. It might be egoistic to ask you to
go on with amateur skating, but we are so many people who badly want you to stay
around. So, please consider giving competitive skating another chance. Figure Skating
won´t be the same without you. What ever you choose to do, I wish you a speedy recovery
and the best of luck in the future.

Sasha, everything turns out to the best, that's true!!! Have you seen the
GPFinal already? We've seen the broadcast today... Do you still wish to have skated
at Colorado-Springs? If so, forget about it!!!
You see, we hope you'll NEVER look as pale-blue (or pale-green) as the participants
of GPF these days =)) We always want to see you healthy and charming (that's what
you usually are!). We adore your new look and are fond of your costumes! For sure,
you're the most stylish skater - both on ice and off-ice ;))Mmm, your white ADIDAS
costume...=D
Yes, we know, Tania and Roma were brilliant (as usual), but they didn't have to
go to Japan before Colorado!!!It's far more better to miss a competition than to
risk your health!
Now we're sure you've had a good rest and are getting ready for the Nationals! We're
looking forward to seeing you again -in St.Petersburg! Be sure, we're going to support
you with all our might in order to help you show what you really can and to give
you just a little bit of energy- a little compared with the amount you give us once
you're on ice!

You know, you seem to be the happiest man in the world of figure skating... No one
has such a beautiful and loving wife and a cute son (definitely, future star =))
and at the same time such a GREAT talent, as you! Can't you see, YOU ARE CREATED
FOR FIGURE SKATING! So it is your true place in this world. Many people can't feel
happy because they don't know who they are and why they are in this world. You've
been sent to our world to be the symbol of harmony, perfection in figure skating.
Imagine, when knew almost nothing about figure skating, we were convinced that it
is merely one of the kinds of sport. When we saw some performances, we realised
that it is true ART. But YOUR skating is MORE than art. Since the very first time
and forever - there is NO figure skating without you. Thank you ever so much for
your skating! It makes us happy to live and create and work. It makes the world
better, bacause it fills it with LOVE. And we are eager to return our hearts to
you, though you'll never know HOW we feel when you're on ice. We LOVE you very-very
much! We're really nervous about what's happening to you now. If you need any kind
of help - we'll be happy to do anything for you any time!
Thank you for being an optimist ;)) Cheer up! Your time is coming...))

Dear Sasha.
I could get the video files of your performances in NHK today. I'm sorry about your
jumps, but I was really impressed by both of your skating! The composition, the
step sequence, your consistence(even though your jumps went wrong...) and the elegance
that your skating has overall.
Sasha, I love your skating. Your skating has something great:-) Take care.

Hi Sasha.
Just wanted to check whether everything's OK with our future European etc. Champion.
Since Lyosha is out and if you won't hurt yourself once again (oh, please, don't)
you have wonderful chances-I bet you know that.
And though I always cheered Lyosha on the podium, I have to admit that there were
times you should have been there instead. And now I'd rather see you on the top
than Zhenja. He's no doubt enormously technical!!! but you are SKATING! So please,
take care and give yourself a pleasure of making your dream come true:)
Funny thing but among fans of different skators there's never a fight about you,
Sashenka-we ALL love your skating! though we never clame to be your ardent fans.
It's because you never compete--you're just skating and we love you because we love
skating!
I hope you can read this in English because all I wanted to say is GO Sasha do your
lovely skatedancing! Whatever the judges say. You've got the support and love of
all skating fans!!
Kiss, warm hug and a prayer for you;)

Skate America every year.Good Luck in the 2003-2004 Season.Btw, I still think you

him and deserved the gold.Everyone I know who watched that competition agrees that
the judges were wrong to not give you the gold. Thanks for all the wonderful years
of beautiful skating you have given your fans. You are unique in so many ways & a
joy to watch.I've emailed Stars on Ice and told them you are one skater they should
add to the roster and the sooner the better.

Dear Sasha
Thank you for coming to Japan again.
Your performance was pleased me and all your Japanese fans! You are a great entertainer.
New exhibition numbers were both wonderful.
Especially, 'Rhumba' was stired our blood. Did you have an idea about that costume?
How original it is!
The chanson number was charmed us and you carried away our hearts.
You were reliable this time because you led other performers and Prince ice world
team.
I felt so easy that your condition was well.
I'm glad to hear your latest news to stay for next Olimpic season. I think it is
a serious decision for you. I'm amazed you always have a forward thinking. That's
geat!
I will support you with all my heart forever.
Now, I found a music as if it is composed for you. It is entitled 'Alexander the
geat' by Bond. I think it is good for an exhibition program. If you can, please
listen to it.
Good luck for next Russian tuor and have a good vacation with your family!

Dear Sasha,
Enjoy your touring season. You are at home on the ice and it shows through your wonderful
performances. The view of wild flowers are a breathtaking sight to behold in the
open fields, bending in the wind, in symphony with nature. If removed from there
enviroment they are still pretty to look at,but it is no longer the same awsome
sight. The same is true of you when you are no longer on the ice.And people find
themselves anxious for the next season when they can see you back in your most awsome
state, when we all can see you back on the ice, performing again as only you can. Please
enjoy this poetic stanza written by Ralph Waldo Emerson.
I thought the sparrow's note from heaven,
Singing at dawn on the alder bough;
I brought him home, in his nest, at even;
He sings the song, but it cheers not now;
For I did not bring home
The river and sky;
He sang to my ear,--They sang to my eye.
The delicate shells lay on the shore;
The bubbles of the latest wave
Fresh pearls to there enamel gave,
And the bellowing of the savage sea
Greeted there safe escape to me.
I wiped away the weeds and foam-
I fetched my sea-born treasures home;
But the poor unsightly, noisome things
Had left there beauty on the shore
With the sun and the sand and the
Wild uproar.

Sasha,
So I guess now is about the time you will be selecting music for next years' programs. What
you chose last year was nice but did not come as close as it should to complimenting
your style.I'm sure you know just how important it is to select just the right arrangement.Unfortunately,
I have not had the opportunity to view any of your short programs, but the long
program for the 2001-2002 season was spectacularly perfect for you.Except for winning
the Russian Nationals this year, the season before was your best ever. Please return
to something with a gentle, flowing, romantic quality to it.Something that builds
to a climactic pitch. When I first saw your "Rach" program last year my jaw dropped
to the floor. It was incredibly beautiful.I think your fans and the judges would
like to see more of the same.I ask that you and your coach give it some thought. As
always, Thank you.

Hi Sasha, I´m so happy to know that you´ll be all right for the next season,
I think everyone who loves skating, wants you to be fine again. Is the first time
I write you, and I´d like you to know that I can´t get my eyes off from tv when
you are skating, I think I feel it. I don´t know what to say you, so "go on" and

Sasha,
Do remember me?I'm guessing not because it's been a while since I have signed the
book.First of all, I just want to wish you the best of luck and plenty of get well
wishes with your leg injury.I was very distressed to hear about this and your withdrawal
from Worlds.Though I know that you will be able to pull through and fight through
this.Your quality and magic over the ice is unmatched...have plenty of sleep, rest,
and take some time off the ice.Explore all the other possibilities with your family,
friends, and your relatives. This is a time to be thankful for what you have, and
to take care of yourself and nurse back to health.I know you can do this and you
will come back stronger than ever next year! You're the best!
